Every change in Pinnacle's spread before kickoff, by day (Eastern time). Pinnacle is where sharps bet, so this is when sharp money lands. Busiest: Saturday.
How far before kickoff
Moves early in the week are usually sharp money on openers. Moves in the last day mix late sharp money with injuries, weather and the public.
When your books have a better number
Share of hours, while games were on the board, that FanDuel, Caesars or BetMGM had a spread worth 1%+ more than Pinnacle's fair price, counting both the number and the juice (the same rule as “Better price at your book”). That gap is the edge: the book hasn't caught up yet. Most often: Wednesday.
